In a sense, New Year resolution is a dream …

Day dreaming is not sickness; if you thrive to make it real!

Look at dawn or dusk or stars or a falling star; make a wish n follow it...

Always we dream for better conditions, and we wish an achievement. Normally we get things by little more efforts. There are always some big things to achieve in our mind. For such a long term achievement we fix an year and treat the wish as resolution of the year. In most of the cases we gradually side track the wish due to, day to day loads and pressures, or just lethargy… Sometimes a spark hits soul, and triggers emotions to get into motion to achieve by hook or crook…

What is Daydreaming in Psychology?

Altered Consciousness

Have you ever fantasized about being the hero or heroine of your own story? When bored, does your mind wander off into fields of fancy filled with imagery and experiences you can't possibly have in real life? Do you take a break from the everyday life around you in order to plan for your future? If you have, then you are as normal as all other human beings. We all daydream.

In 2012 I took an insurance policy ‘Jeevan Anand’ from LIC. In the initiation process they asked me for a medical checkup. I was reported 160/140. Same time I applied for ‘Jeevan Arogya’ the mediclaim policy and due to my medical conditions LIC rejected IT. This really rang several bells in head. In fact, I had a very nice health record; but…

Till 2013, I never made any New Year resolution before. For the first time in 2013 I made ‘quit smoking’ and for almost 4 months I could manage to… but I surrendered.

‘series of habits are too easy to quit, until they are to hard to leave’ I experienced!

Again for 2014 I put this same resolution ‘quit smoking’ and I made it worth; thank god, till date am away from smoking. This really gave me a confidence that, '...yess; am not a loser, I can make it!'

This changed my views towards myself; I started thinking that now I should get my knowledge and understanding of industry be verified and be certified. Hence I concentrated on my career achievements. In 2014 I achieved certification in MS Project, through PMI Pune chapter.

Next year for 2015, I put resolution to achieve some certification in project management, VBA and MBA. I failed in PM exam, but could achieve VBA basic certification. I keep on studying for PM certification, and kept MBA for 2016.

For 2016 I kept target of PM certification plus Six Sigma certification plus MBA. As I was studding for PM certification from 2015, this time It came a bit easier. I passed first sem of MBA too.

September 2016 I became Prince2 on my B’day, and within 4 days got hospitalized; straight in ICU…

Realizing your limits and same time trying to conquer them; is a real challenge and a fun…

After a month long bed rest I resumed duty, and my studies on Six Sigma Green Belt. I achieved it in December, but I stepped back on completion of my MBA certification, I accepted loss of pay, and kept it for 2017.

Now for 2017 I have kept my resolution of MBA certification. Besides, this time I also have kept resolution for health. 85 to 58 will be my target for 2017.

All sleep, all dream, and forget when wake up… nop… some don’t; they try to bring them true…!

"Your brain naturally fluctuates in certain ways because of its structure, and that determines the structure of your daydreaming,"

Not last, but… at least this year am gonna work on my website, ‘www.healthwealthguide.com’ which I think may be useful for commons to know about self-treatment through acupressure and vitamins in common health conditions and for wellness, and to bring easiness to life… all from my own study and experience and expert contributions from you people.

And offcourse if I successfully manage it, I have a huge wish list… few of them are, free fall, rafting, skydiving, gliding, rappelling ….

Keep three hobbies; to make money, to stay in shape and to be creative

I must thank LIC for awakening the fire within; which was ignited by a spark from a negative medical report, otherwise I wouldn’t be this hard towards myself.

In project management, Cost-Time-Scope is an all-time constraint. in fulfilling your dreams your all time constraint is Cost-Time-Health; some of your dreams can’t be fulfilled due to financial limits, some due to time limit and some due to your own physical limits. You should be easy with that.

Six Sigma say’s if you put an aim of zero errors, you have chances to reduce errors to significant level! In other words it doesn’t claim ‘a complete eradication of errors’. In the same manner, if you create a wish list you have chances to bring as many as possible to make real. Don’t get hurt if you couldn’t achieve something.

And most important... in this professional world; don't let the child inside you die!...

Somnathda; Parliament has limitation!

In recent years, judicial intervention has occurred in more number of cases of parliamentary affairs, and this has irked panic in politicians that, the judiciary is prevailing its limitations and shadowing over there fields of legislation. In last few months, LS speaker Somanath Chatarji is constantly, progressively putting this point more and more aggressively and in louder voice, on every possible stage that he was offered. In his recent speeches, he has accused the judiciary, that when emergency was imposed, they (Supreme Court) left people on mercy of Executives. This is completely falls statement, because power of judicial review on any law, passed by the government was suspended, and CAFEPOSA, MISA were the major laws, where no judicature was given jurisdiction to admit or hear any plea for relief or challenge. In other words, judiciary itself was suspended. How it could entertain any application, which could not mention relief under specific provision. Somanathda is making men...

Really; Are These Monuments!

There are almost a thousand places built in the end of 18 th century by British or, almost all built in the beginning of 19 century. All these places belong to more of political and social entities and less of historical activities, but still these are classified as archaeological sites. These are placed under Archaeological survey. The places where an historical activity took place those places are reference points of socio-economic or socio-political developments in modern history, but many places are connected to an active person. This from any point of view, these places can’t be equated with monuments built before 17 th century or rather in pre-historic time.
